Summary
The project was set up in a series intended to provide the impetus for expensive, long-term studies of fear ecology. Intended outcomes were to determine whether wild kangaroos would be deterred to the same extent as captives by predator waste products, and the formulation of a timed-release gel for use on Australian minesites.
