Summary

The project was undertaken to characterize and document the diverse trace fossil assemblages within the deltaic, estuarine and shallow marine Jurassic and Cretaceous sediments in the Northern Carnarvon Lower Basin, to produce a comprehensive trace fossil Atlas.

Brief text accompanies the Atlas on the value of trace fossils, their classification, and how their characteristics can be used to interpret stratal surfaces.
