Dynamic testing of ground support systems – Phase 3
Project Overview
Project Number
M0417
Total Grant Value
$1,259,960
Program Area
MRIWA Contribution
$120,000
Project Theme
Engineering in Highly Stressed and Complex Rock Masses
Project Period
2011 - 2015
Summary
The aim of this project was to establish criteria for selection of ground support schemes based on rock mass characteristics and expected energies associated with seismic loadings.
The report describes the third phase of a three phase programme (extending on M0349 and M0349A), including results of modifying equipment/tests on combined surface support and reinforcement schemes as currently used, or could potentially be used.
