Summary
Tantalum based photovoltaic devices proposed in this research program were aimed at exploiting the electronic and physical properties unique to the rare metal.
These devices can be configured to form advanced optical sensors for use in robotics, machine control and innovative solar cells.
Photovoltaic device configured position sensitive detectors are sophisticated optoelectronic devices which have extensive applications in the areas of machine alignment, robotic vision and a range of control and sensing systems.
