Delivering the fluid handling needs of Coiled Tubing drilling
Innovative technology developed at Curtin University is supporting a new style of exploration drilling for the minerals industry
Augmented by efficient hydrocyclone technology, the fluid management systems developed by Masood Mostofi and his Curtin University research team monitor and adjust the performance of specialised drilling fluids and rapidly clean and recycle high volumes of fluid, all within the compact footprint of a portable drill rig.
These performance characteristics allow the system to be optimised to the needs of Coiled Tubing (CT) drilling, supporting efficient low-cost mineral exploration drilling with minimal environmental impact in remote locations.
