Deep crustal-scale structure, geological evolution and multi-commodity prospectivity analysis in the Halls Creek Orogen, Kimberley region, Western Australia
Research provides insights to assist the exploration industry to find new mineral deposits in WA
Published: 1 November 2019
Dr Fariba Kohanpur’s PhD thesis provides a cross-disciplinary workflow leading to a better understanding of large-scale controls on tectonic evolution and mineralisation.
This study focussed on the Halls Creek Orogen, Kimberley region, Western Australia.
This research was conducted at the Centre for Exploration Targeting at the University of Western Australia in an MRIWA-funded project.
More information on this project is available from the MRIWA website.
