Olivia Gilbert
Project Officer
Biography
Olivia joined MRIWA in 2024 as a Project Officer. With over 20 years of experience within government including Commonwealth, Victorian State Government and local government in the UK. She has worked as a Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager in a range of portfolios including industry, innovation, justice and education, with a focus on process re-engineering, information technology solutions and organisational change management.
Oliva holds a Diploma of Project Management and is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Arts Geography at Curtin University, with an aim to direct her focus on the net zero emissions, circular economy and sustainability portfolios. She is passionate about continuous improvement and finding solutions, whilst imbedding sustainability principles into personal and professional practices.
Olivia is a recipient of a Public Service Australia Day Achievement Award for her work at AusIndustry on the Small Business Bushfire Relief Grants program.
