Comprehensive interpretation of drill hole electromagnetic data

Summary

A computer program to improve the interpretation of downhole electromagnetic survey data has been developed to run on an IBM compatible PC, and designed to comprehensively model the responses of conductive host rock, overburden, and a range of target bodies (mineralisation).

Its use was demonstrated with data collected from a variety of survey configurations.
