Summary
Treating gravel with metham sodium to kill Phytophthora cinnamomi was investigated in this study, with the intent to develop more gravel sources that would be free of dieback fungus.
The positive results enabled an application to be made to the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicine Authority to register metham sodium to treat gravel.
