Standardising Drone Imagery
MRIWA report 507 presents an experimental software platform for standardising imagery collected by unmanned airborne drones.
Standardised image characterisation could provide an important framework for systematic application of remote airborne sensing in the minerals industry. The QA4Imagery software tool presented in this report applies automated metadata and photogrammetric checks to imagery, delivering universal standards of interoperability and quality assurance across a wide range of platforms and operating conditions currently employed in the industry.
The QA4Imagery is available from developers FrontierSI as a Minimum Viable Product for testing and further development by interested parties.
