CRC ORE’s Grade Engineering
Research focuses on extracting metal more efficiently by separating ore from waste before it enters comminution
There is a perception that mining low grade ore is an unavoidable consequence of ore deposit geology and mass mining. The energy cost and capital of used in the typically ‘Crush-Grind-Float’ method for low-grade deposits versus the output of minerals can drive poor productivity in a company.
CRC ORE’s technology ‘Grade Engineering®’ seeks to address this issue by focusing on extracting the metal more efficiently by separating the ore from the waste as early as possible.

CRC ORE General Manager – Implementation Luke Keeney will be presenting on outcomes achieved to date from Grade Engineering and other CRC ORE projects at a MRIWA Workshop on 17 September 2019. Register for free at https://crcore.eventbrite.com.au.
